Aconcagua, Chile Chile

Founded in 2001, Aconcagua is a public Pitch and Putt course near Santiago, Chile (situated 20 minutes from the metropolitan centre).

Having passed through the intersection between PanAmericana Norte (Ruta 5) and Americo Vespucio, if you go about 700 metres to the north, taking the local road (parallel to Panamericana), you'll encounter the Parque Empresarial Aconcagua.

Aconcagua course is floodlit, making night competitions and special events feasible.

Open all year round, Aconcagua makes clever use of two holes on each green so that 18 hole rounds are possible on this 9 hole layout.

Water is a constant factor at Aconcagua, potentially coming into play on all of the holes. A water hazard lurks all the way down the right of  the Index 9 first, which plays at the maximum FIPPA distance - 90 metres. Sand awaits at the left of the green on the 88 metre 4th hole. Three bunkers surround the green at the 84 metre eighth.

The Aconcagua complex also features lessons, a practice range and a cafeteria. Green fees are $10 (weekdays) and $15 (weekends). Phone the club on +56 9 5414 5515. Aconcagua regularly hosts FChPP tournaments and championships.
