Chile v. Argentina

Chile takes second leg and wins on aggregate

The rain relented in Santiago on Sunday for the end of a momentous weekend of Pitch and Putt. Chile scored a team total of 442 to Argentina's 544 to win the Friendship Cup on aggregate. Best round on Sunday was Cristobal Andrade's 52 at Colegio di Medico.

The first round was delayed by heavy rain in Santiago. The home team (with scores of 53, 55, 56 and 56) led overnight and looked set to overcome their deficit from the first leg in Buenos Aires. Eliseo Gracia produced the best round of the day - a one under par 53 at Aconcagua.

In addition to Cristobal Andrade and Eliseo Gracia, Chile's scoring rounds were produced by Jaime Reyes, Alejandro Moraga, Joaquin Cataldo, Gustavo Cortez, Nelson Sanheuza and Pablo Gracia. Cristobal Andrade won the individual event with 110 for 36 holes.
