Chilean Federation President Patricio Rubel has issued a letter aimed at intending participants. Read it in English here or in Spanish here.

With the objective of organizing a successful FERNANDO MORGADO TROPHY which will be celebrated on March 16th, 17th  and 18th 2018, at Puerto Velero Pitch and Putt course in Coquimbo, Quarta Región, Chile, the FIPPA Secretary is seeking to ascertain the approximate number of participants attending the tournament, which will be modelled on golf's Ryder Cup. Every EPPA Association may send a player. Catalonia, Norway and Slovenia have already confirmed that they will be represented. If any vacancies arise, other associations may fill these places.

The trophy honours the late Dr. Fernando Morgado, the Chilean who founded Pitch and Putt in South America. The IV Chile Open will also take place during the weekend.

South American Pitch and Putt is on the crest of a wave. Argentina, Chile and Ecuador contested the recent inaugural South American Team Championship, while contacts are developing in Brazil, Colombia and Peru.

Lonely Planet has chosen Chile as the must-see destination of 2018. Read the full article here. Fernando Morgado Trophy additional tours - read more here
