Cement, Ireland Ireland

Cement Pitch and Putt club, just off the North Road in Drogheda, was founded in 1969 and affiliated to the Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland in 1972.

Mature trees frame the area of Cement Pitch and Putt course. The 2nd measures 50 metres and the pitch must carry a hedge. There's a bunker set well in front of the tiny green at the slightly downhill 39 metre third. The raised tee at the 56 metre 4th is overlooked by trees. Another hedge forms an obstacle at the 42 metre 9th.

The 6th and 11th tee boxes sit side by side. The 37 metre teeshot on 6th must fly a bunker. A slightly raised green awaits the 49 metre pitch to the 11th. The Index 13 15th plays 45 metres through a narrow gap in the trees. The long 68 metre 18th has tested many down the decades.

As well as hosting several Irish championships over the years, Cement was the venue for the inaugural Ireland v. Australia international match in 1993.

Daily green fees are just €6.
