World Pitch and Putt Tour

likely to start in 2022

To create a top circuit competition dedicated only to the Top Players of each association, which would be the maximum individual level competition and must obtain the following goals

  • Promote the sport.
  • Create visibility to attract sponsors
  • Create a level of competition that all Pitch & Putt players want to qualify to play in.
  • Create new and separate competitions that will help courses/associations to promote the sport and increase incomes.
  • Create new incomes for FIPPA

On Saturday 2 rounds of 18 holes each will be played and the 36 best classified will access the final on Sunday.

On Sunday morning there will be a last round of 18 holes.

In the event of a tie for first place, the number of holes necessary to break the tie will be played between those involved - in matchplay format.

All persons with a valid license from any member or association of the FIPPA will have the right to play in the WPPT

Each member of FIPPA will be assigned a number of places for the final phase, according to the criteria of the FIPPA and the WPPT.

FIPPA members will hold qualifying competitions to determine their representatives (FIPPA member may decide the criteria)

The opening stage of the tournament will be held at the Lleida P&P in October 2021, pending the exact date of coordination with the FCPP due to the current state of emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The circuit will begin in 2022 and the calendar will be announced in the first quarter of 2022, with 5 events at 5 venues around the world.

The calendar of dates and venues will be communicated in the first quarter of 2022.

A strong organisational team has been assembled, led by Alan Torner, Chairman of the FCPP Rules Committee.
