Brittany Open

Yann Le Tallec of the host club emerged victorious at the Brittany Open in Quiberon. Yann carded a final round of 53 for a 54 hole aggregate of three under par 159. That left the French international two shots clear of fellow French player Michel Espanol. Overnight leader Charlie Cloarec finshed third on level par 162 after shoooting 57 on Sunday. Herma Kleinlugtenbeld (Netherlands) won another international ladies open with a three round tally of 175.  Second was Francoise Le Fur (France) on 189 with another French player Marie Coulin third with 196. Dutchman Gerard Spaargaren was the leading non-French male player on 183. Best junior score of 187 was returned by France's Elie Quernec

French players continued to dominate after two rounds of the I Brittany Open at Quiberon but Charlie Cloarec took over the lead. Charlie added a second round 51 to his first round of par and was a single stroke ahead overnight of first round leader Yann Le Tallec. Michel Espanol was a further three strokes back heading into Sunday's final round. Herma Kleinlugtenbeld (Netherlands) led the ladies event on 116 after a second round 56. Yann Le Tallec of the host club led after the opening round. Yann shot a three under par 51 first eighteen and was three strokes clear of fellow Frenchman Charlie Cloarec. Michel Espanol was on 55. Jose Mosquera of Galicia was the leading non French man on 60 while Herma Kleinlugtenbeld (Netherlands) headed the ladies leaderboard on 60.
