International Open Pairs
Denis O'Sullivan and John Walsh won the 2023 Catalan International Pairs, which was played at Sant Cebria on 20th/22nd. October. The Irishmen posted 46 in their Sunday fourball for a 25 under par aggregate of 137 and a one stroke success from defending champions Dani Giménezand Xavi Ponsdenenech who shot in 45 in Fourball. Third were Catalans Sergi Arisa and Rafa Ramos on -23 Marta Cucurull and Pau Folguera (Catalonia) won the Mixed category with 145. Final leaderboard here
Ireland's Denis O'Sullivan and John Walsh fired a superb 43 in Greensomes and followed up with 48 in Foursomes to post a seventeen under par total of 91 for 36 holes. That left O'Sullivan and Walsh two strokes clear heading into Sunday's final Fourball round. The Ireland duo's closest pursuers were the holder, Catalans Daniel Gimenez and Xavi Ponsdemenech, who scored a mesmerising Greesomes 42 and 51 for their 93 tally. Sergi Arisa and Rafa Ramos were ultra consistent (47+47) in compiling their -14 total. Marta Cucurull and Pau Folguera led the Mixed category on 99.

One third of the field played their Greensomes and Foursomes on Friday and Ireland's Kieran Earls and Tommy Hanley were the Friday night leaders. The 2016 winners scored 47 in Greensomes and 51 in Foursomes for a ten under par 36 hole total of 98 and led by three from a couple of Catalan teams Teodoro Febrero & Amparo Francisco Aparicio and Amador Rodriguez & John Evans.
