Club Med Marrakech, Morocco

Twenty minutes from Marrakech Airport lies Club Med Marrakech Pitch and Putt (within the La Palmeraie complex) situate at the edge of the city's northern section.

Nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, La Palmeraie (Palm Grove) resort is a multi-disciplined luxurious resort spread out over a huge area, where there is also a Driving range as part of facilities for a significant number of sports on site such as badminton, volleyball, horse riding, petanque, swimming, basketball and archery.

There's water to be carried on the 2nd and 9th holes on the Pitch and Putt course, which features holes mainly in the 40 - 60 metre range. Bunkers guard the right and left sides of the 8th green while sand also protects the front left of the 9th. The 1st is shortest hole on the course while the 7th is the longest.

In this palm grove, there are lots of trees (olive and orange as well as palm) to frame the fairways. The greens are tricky and tough to hold.

A practice bunker and two practice putting greens along with the driving range adjoin this excellent layout, which was opened in 2004 and is staffed by efficient and enthusiastic personnel.
