Course of the Month

July 2013

Greenlake, Seattle, WA, USA USA

At a maximum of only $7 for a round this is many peoples' favourite places in Seattle! Clients of Greenlake pay a mere $5 to play and an extra $2 if they need to rent clubs. Course maintenance is of a high quality. Greenlake can be a little muddy in spring, but that is understandable. When the sun is out, many Seattleites grab a pitching wedge, putter and a ball and head out there at Greenlake, with friends or out of town visitors to enjoy the sun and each other's company.

The 9-hole course measures 705 yards. Longest hole is 95 metres and holes range from 60 to 95 metres. Greenlake Pitch and Putt is owned and operated by the City of Seattle Parks & Recreation Department and it offers a good challenge of the short game. The staff is super friendly, and the price is a very reasonable $3.50 for each additional round. The 66 years old course is open from March until October.

In the world over marketing theme for Pitch and Putt, Greenlake advertising announces that it demands nowhere near the financial or time commitment of a proper 18. The course is located on the south end of Green Lake, near downtown Seattle.
