The course is located in the idyllic landscape of the lower Leintals at the foot of Heuchelberg, a few kilometres southwest of Heilbronn in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg (Germany). The tall trees shade the course fairways, on which one has an unparalleled panoramic view of the entire environment as well as the wine-growing villages and Stetten and Schwaigern. The entire area surrounding the course was designed with native woods, making the landscape natural and picturesque. The Heuchelberg is about 15 km long and up to 353 m above sea level.
A public 9-hole course par 54 with a length of 1,562 m offers ideal facilities for beginners and varied practice conditions. Advanced players are provided with an attractive opportunity to improve their short game. With water hazards, bunkers, hedges and trees, all of the elements of the classic short course abound.
The length of the holes varies between 55 m and 120 m. Unlike many other courses, where beginners get only to face the driving range inthe first few weeks, even absolute beginners can immediately play in the short course with us after a short introduction.
Card of the Course
There's a pond between the 7th and 8th holes. The pond shouldn't come into play on 7 (except for nervous lefthanders) but it could cause a problem or two on the 8th.
After the round, players can meet in the cosy clubhouse with a familiar and pleasant atmosphere or on the terrace in front of it in order to discuss the day's events with friends. Here in the bistro, coffee and cake or a snack for the hungry are served.
The complex also features: exercise apparatus, Driving range, pitch and chip area, Driving range mirror, Pitching range and four putting greens. Another component of the driving range is a practice area with a pitch and chip area, two Practice Bunkers, a large putting green and a pitching green.
