Pitlochry Lettoch Links, United Kingdom
Located within the grounds of Pitlochry Golf Course, the newly created Lettoch Links six hole Pitch and Putt course is made up of small tricky greens, tight fairways and a unique setting which offers stunning views, looking up at Ben-y-Vrackie.
This "wee" course has been designed to improve your game, allowing you to practice your wedge shots, refine your technique or simply as somewhere to bring the family and enjoy a game without having to take up to four hours playing the "big" course. Adjacent to Pitlochry Pitch & Putt, one will find a practice green which has three practice bunkers and this is further complemented by a generous chipping area. In addition, there is a pitching area, where players can practice shots of up to 100 yards.
Holes measure from 35 yards (1st) to 89 yards. The downhill 4th is an 86 yard hole with a small green and a nasty looking bunker front left. The fifth is the longest hole with grassy banks protecting a green that falls away to the left. The final hole stretches to just 43 yards but has a wickedly sloping two tier green and a little bank over the back covered in tough rough.
Driving Range, Academy and lessons from Professionals are also available.
If you're time constrained or want to practice Pitch and Putt, Lettoch Links is ideal.
The Lettoch Links is free to use for members and is also available for green fee visitors (Adult - £10, Under 18s - £6, Family of 4 - £25) or societies.
