Situated some twelve kilometres from Bilbao (along the N-637 and the BI-631) is Urgoiti Pitch and Putt course at Arritugane Kalea, s/n, 48100 Mungia, Bizkaia, Spain.
Urgoiti features centennial oaks, pines, holm oaks and other native species, as well as bunkers and lakes.
Official Standard Scratch for two tours of this nine-holer is 55, which indicates the course's difficulty.
The 5th hole is a 76 metre test with a hazard to the left of the green. The 5th is considered the most difficult on the course.
The 70 metre 6th hole is Index 9. Shortest Hole at 46 metres is the 8th. However, No. 8 is heavily guarded by trees and is rated Index 5.
The nearby Hotel Palacio was originally the Palacio Urgoti, which was built by Don Miguel Vélez de Larrea at the end of the 17th century in Galdakao and has always belonged to the Adán de Yarza family. The palace was the setting for different historical events in Bizkaia before being rebuilt as a hotel.
The hotel is popular for weddings and other functions as well as with the Pitch and Putt fraternity.
