Gonzalo Mendoza and Joan Jordi Segura win by three

Andorra's two Pitch and Putt courses played host to a new international event on the weekend of 26th/27th May 2018. The Andorra Pairs championship was contested over 54 holes - 18 holes foursomes, 18 holes greensomes, 18 holes fourball. 

Gonzalo Mendoza and Joan Jordi Segura (Andorra) dominated the tournament from start to finish. A brilliant 44 in the Sunday fourball at Xixeralla gave the Andorra pair the inaugural title by three strokes. Enric Sanz and Jaume Vidal from Catalonia scored 46 in the final fourball round to finish second on 147 for the 54 holes. Moises Pernia and Joan Valls were third on 151 (-11). Final leaderboard here.

Andorra's Gonzalo Mendoza and Joan Jordi Segura fired another 50 in the 18 holes greensomes at Xixerella on Saturday afternoon. That gave Mendoza and Segura a one stroke overnight advantage over the Catalan pair Enric Sanz and Jaume Vidal, who carded a fine 49 at Xixerella. Scoreboard here

Andorra's Gonzalo Mendoza and Joan Jordi Segura scored 4 under par 50 for the foursomes round at Ordino for a two stroke first round lead. Tied on 52 were Mario Gomez & Juan José Fernandez and Enric Sanz & Jaume Vidal. 18 hole scores in the image document attached.
