Win for Ireland's Kieran Earls
The 2026 Catalan Open was contested over the weekend of 10/12th April at the Vallromanes course.
A superb final round of 47 propelled Ireland's Kieran Earls to victory. The World Cup and European championship winner posted a 13 under par aggregate of 149 and a one stroke win over World Strokeplay champion Manuel Amor and Ireland's Liam O'Donovan, the 2013 and 2015 Catalan Open champion.
World Strokeplay champion Manuel Amor (Catalonia) produced an excellent final round of 47 to claim second spot on the countvack from overmight leaderLiam O'Donovan after both posted 151.
Marta Cucurull (Catalonia) was an impressive ladies winner, carding a three round tally of four under par 158. That gave the Catalan lady a nine stroke cushion over fellow Catalan Anna Selva
Catalonia's Fernando Cano emerged as top senior with a score of 157, two clear of the field.

Rounds of 48 and 51 saw former winner Liam O'Donovan (Ireland) take a two stroke lead into Sunday's final round. O'Donovan is on nine under par 99, which was two better than Catalans Olegario Arnau and Joel Girbau along with fellow Irishman David Sexton. Olegario Arnau topped the senior event while Marta Cucurull (Catalonia) was ladies leader on -2.
