Fernandez & Sanchez regain title
The Nacho Prada International Open Pairs was contested at the Pozo do Lago and Ourense courses from 2nd October to 4th October 2026.
A Galician 1-2-3 resulted in Teodoro Fernandez and Antonio Sanchez regaining the title they previously claimed in 2024. Fernandez and Sanchez scored 48 in Greensomes at Pozo do Lago and 46 in Fourball at Ourense before carding a superb 42 in Chapman Greesomes at Ourense on Sunday.
That clinched a 26 under par 54-hole aggregate of 136 and a two-stroke victory margin over David Rodriguez & Mario Mujica who themselves fashioned a fine 43 in Sunday’s final round. That gave Rodriguez & Mujica a further two-shot cushion from overnight leaders Juan Carlos Surribas & Jorge Sarmiento
