WPPT Final 2023

Alejandro Esmatges is the champion

The WPPT Final 2023 was played at Costa Daurada, Spain from 3rd to 5th November. Victory went to Alejandro Esmatges (Catalonia) on 19 under par 143, ahead of fellow Catalans Joel Grirbau who finished second on 149 and David Solé third on 155. Final Leaderboard

Marta Cucurull (Catalona) was top lady with 166 while Catalan Josep Ramon Portell scored 156 to be best senior.

The three winners at Costa Daurada were also ranked best players in their categories for the entire series of 2023 WPPT tournaments.

A very small number of players completed their opening 36 holes on Friday with the remainder playing on Saturday. Alejandro Esmatges (Catalonia) was the overnight leader after a superb 17 under par 91 on Saturday. Estmatges led into the final round by six strokes from Catalan Joel Girbau with Hugo Espirito Santo (Galicia) third on -8. 36 hole leaderboard

On November 3th to 5th, 2023 at Costa Daurada Sports Centre., WPPT are adding a Village with shops, wine tasting, music and a free Pitch and Putt class for beginners, where family, friends, and the fun-loving folks are all invited!

• Experience the exquisite flavours of Perelada wines during our wine tasting events, featuring a delightful trio of wines, including white, rosé, and red varietals.

• Join us for free beginner's pitch and putt lessons with an expert coach, and discover your passion for this exciting sport.

• Explore our charming village, where you'll find a delightful array of shops offering everything from clothing and golf clubs to unique local handmade products and sports massages.

• Friday & Saturday from 9am to 6pm; Sunday from 9am to 2pm

If you enjoy playing Pitch and Putt or golf come and participate in the tournament through WPPT's website. With an amazing welcome pack, raffle games and more than €12.000 money prize!

From the World Pitch & Putt Tour, we want to get in touch with all FIPPA members to announce that the registration period for the final WPPT Master at the Costa Daurada Sports Centre has opened, and it will take place on the upcoming days, November 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

During the competition, WPPT will set up a Village with shops, music, wine tasting and free Pitch & Putt initiation classes.

All players, family members, friends, and all fun enthusiasts are invited.
