Important message from Patricio Rubel, FIPPA Vice President

Dear Pitch & Putt Friends
(particularly those from Chile, Argentina and Brazil)

We inform you that in the face of the complex situation that the world is facing and whose evolution cannot be predicted, is that the Chilean Pitch & Putt Federation, in accordance with the guidelines of the FIPPA, has decided to suspend all scheduled sports activities, and postpone them until we recover adequate health conditions. that allow us to resume them with the necessary security.

This determination includes International Tournaments scheduled in Argentina and especially the Brazilian Open Tournament, scheduled for May 16 and 17, in the town of Porto Alegre and which was part of the official FIPPA calendar.

We will be reporting on the resumption of our activities according to the evolution of the scourge that affects us.

We acknowledge and appreciate the great work that Luis Daudt has done, work that we hope will bear fruit in the not too distant future.

We ask you to ensure your self-care and that of your families.

The Sitio Saô Luiz course near Porto Alegre was again to be the host venue for the 2020 renewal of the Brazil Open, scheduled for May 16th/17th. View a video of the course here

One of the goals of the Chilean Pitch & Putt Federation is to promote the development of Pitch and Putt in South America. The FECHIPP is assisting the Brazilians in the organisation of the Open and more information is available here

On Sunday, January 26th, the Opening Tournament of the 2020 Season was held at Sitio Saô Luiz, played under FIPPA rules. Tournament winners were: First Place: Bruno Herter;

Second Place: Bruno Wagner; Third Place: Faviano Chávez.
