Casa Vella Aparthotel win at Xixerella

Casa Vella Aparthotel team from Andorra have won the II Iberian Teams Cup. Pepe Garcia and Moises Pernia combined brilliantly on Sunday for a superb fourball score of 45. Luis Grife carded 57 and Jose Luis Prats Balague 63. Casa Vella Aparthotel's 54 hole aggregate was 310 (14 under par) and that was good enough for an eight stroke victory over Temp Team Soriano (Catalonia) who finished on six under par 318. Alberto Lopez and Juan Jose Hernandez carded a fourball better ball 50 on Sunday. Mario Gomez scored 56 while Ivan Molina returned 64.

Pepe Garcia and Moises Pernia scored successive fourball rounds of 50. Luis Grife improved 15 strokes on his opening round to card a brilliant second singles round of 51. Jose Luis Prats Balague shot 57 and 60. With the discard singles scores, Casa Villa Aparthotel's 36 hole tally is 208 (-8). Tempo Team Soriano (Catalonia) are second on 212. Alberto Lopez and Ivan Molina added a fourball better ball 52 to their opening 49. Mario Gomez fired 52 and 59 while Juan Jose Hernandez was round in 57 and 60.
