FIPPA General Assembly 2026
Jordi elected President
The 2026 FIPPA General Assembly took place on Saturday 11th April at Vallromanes.
The meeting elected a new FIPPA Board, which is: President: Jordi Torrent (Catalonia); Vice President: Patricio Rubel (Chile); Vice President: Alan Hanlon (Ireland); Board Members: Mònica Menendez (Andorra), Victor Moscatel (Catalonia), Victor Rodriguez (Galicia), John Manning (Ireland). Tributes were paid to outgoing President Michael Murphy who did not seek re-election.
The following FIPPA tournaments and championships were agreed for 2027 - 2030:
2027 - World Cup, European Seniors Championship, World Matchplay championship
2028 - World Strokeplay Championship
2029 - European Team Championship
2030 - European Strokeplay Championship, World Pairs Championship
Swiss Pitch and Putt Association were elected full members of FIPPA while associate membership was granted to Peru Pitch and Putt and the Ukrainian Pitch and Putt Association.
Jozef Klancnik (Slovenia) was appointed FIPPA Ambassdor for the Balkan territories, including Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia.
Member associations were asked to make submissions under the following headings by 30th June:
- suggested changes to the FIPPA rules (2020 version)
- candidature to be a host site of the 2027 World Cup and European Seniors Championship
