Andorra win final against Catalonia

Host country Andorra won the Five Nations trophy for the first time. The Andorrans took five singles to beat holders Catalonia 7.5 to 4.5 in the final of Five Nations International tournament 2020 which was played at Xixerella, Andorra from 29/30 August. Andorra led Catalonia by 2.5 to 1.5 after fourball play in Sunday's final - Full Fourball details here. In the race for third position, France and Galicia were tied on three points each, ahead of Basque Country. Details here 

Andorra won all four fourballs on Saturday to head the overnight standings on 14 points with Catalonia second on 9.5 points. France (9.5 points), Galicia (8) and Basque Country were left to contest play-off for 3rd, 4th and 5th place. Saturday Fourball details here

Andorra won seven out of eight singles matches to take the lead on 10 points in the Five Nations International 2020, which is being played at Xixerella, Andorra from 29/30 August. Catalonia were second (on 8.5) with France third (6.5) and Galicia fourth (5). Singles scores here.

Andorra and Catalonia both won three out of four Greensomes matches to tie for the lead after the opening round. France and Galicia were just one point behind. See full details here
