Yann Le Tallec victorious for 2nd successive year

Holder Yann Le Tallec (France) won the IV Slovenia Open,which was played at Stanežiče course in the nation's capital Ljubljana on September 5th. Yann retained his title by an impressive nine stroke margin after firing a 53 second eighteen for a 36-hole aggregate of level par 108. Tomas Kolesa (Slovenia) produced a fine second round 55 to post 117 overall for second place. Tomas' fellow Slovenian Miha Sizman was third on 118. Sasa Leban (Slovenia) dominated the ladies event, closing with a 59 for a two round tally of 123. That was good enough for a nine stroke winning margin over Sabina Dietner (Slovenia) who carded 132. Another Slovenian, Milica Korosec, took third place on 139

Yann Le Tallec (France) led after opening round, scoring a first round 55 for a two stroke margin over Miha Sizman (Slovenia) who was second on 57. Another Slovenian Drago Banovic was another two shots back on 59. Slovenia's Sasa Leban led the ladies open on 64 with Milica Korosec (Slovenia) on 69 and Sabina Dietner (Slovenia) on 72.
