Nacho Prada RIP

Sad death of Galician Pitch and Putt personality

We are bereft to hear the news of the passing of Nacho Prada RIP.

Nacho was hugely enthusiastic about Pitch and Putt. He was one of the best players in Galicia and very encouraging to fellow competitors and new players.

He was most co-operative and gracious whenever FIPPA contacted him to contribute to articles and interviews for fippa.org. In all our dealings, his innate kindness and friendliness shone through.

Nacho represented Galicia in the 2016 World Cup and was a regular participant in the 5 Nations/Quadrangular tournament. Nacho finished second (with Jose Antonio Carvajales) in the 2021 Ourense Pairs and won the Mixed category in the same event in 2022 alongside Teresa Gonzalez. Nacho won many tournaments in Galicia since he first started to play Pitch and Putt in 2014.

FIPPA extends deepest sympathy to Nacho's family and friends.
